CONSERVATIVE FORT WORTH COUNCILMAN

 ALAN BLAYLOCK ANNOUNCES FOR

TEXAS HOUSE DISTRICT 93

FORT WORTH – With State Rep. Nate Schatzline stepping down to advance conservative causes nationally, Fort Worth City Councilman Alan Blaylock today announced his campaign for Texas House District 93.

“I’m running to bring battle-tested conservative leadership to Austin,” Blaylock declared. “I kept my promise to never vote for a tax increase. I voted NO on every city budget that was not at or below the ‘no-new revenue” rate. In 2024, we successfully cut property taxes and increased exemptions for seniors and the disabled.”

House District 93 covers northern and northeastern Fort Worth, one-third of Saginaw, and all of Blue Mound and Haslet, stronghold communities that demand lower taxes, safer streets, and less government waste.

Blaylock’s conservative record:

  • Fought for lower property taxes

  • Championed public safety to stop crime before it starts

  • Addressed wasteful spending using his business acumen to improve efficiency

  • Defended infrastructure and roads

“Big government doesn’t build prosperity, freedom does,” Blaylock said. “Families, businesses, and faith thrive when taxes are low, streets are safe, and bureaucrats stay out of the way.”

Blaylock Chairs the City of Fort Worth Audit and Finance Committee, is the President of the Fort Worth Local Development Board, and is a member of the Regional Transportation Council. Previously, Alan served on the Heritage HOA Board and the Crime and Control Prevention District Advisory Committee. He built a tech career as a Senior Product Manager at Nokia and a Project Manager at Owen Oil Tools.

Guided by their Christian faith, Alan and his wife Mindy have two daughters and proudly support local charities that support victims of domestic abuse and children’s health.
